We organize several ceremonies every week. Although we no longer offer Ayahuasca, we fully focus on guiding Psilohuasca ceremonies – a legal and equal alternative. Our goal is to offer a safe, guided inner journey that can lead to personal insights, supported by thorough preparation, a thorough intake, and extensive aftercare. Over New Year's Eve, my husband, his daughter, and I spent three days at Mindtravellers. For me, it ended with a day of psilochuasca journeying—my first experience with it. Now, a little over a week later, I'm still filled with deep appreciation and gratitude for everything I encountered during my journey. The tour guides had a calming, respectful presence—thank you for holding my hands and looking me in the eyes when I needed it. My life hasn't changed drastically, but I'm slowly developing an inner strength and seeing what I do and give to others instead of being afraid of my own. These were by far the best three days of my life. I don't feel comfortable around other people easily, so the first day was extremely difficult, and I expected days two and three to be the same—but my expectations were completely wrong. Upon arrival I immediately felt welcome, a large group of guides who passionately greeted the upcoming mind travelers and made sure we all felt at home.
I've traveled for two days, and that feeling of being welcomed is present the entire time. We enter the ceremony with care and attention. Just to name one example that demonstrates this attention is the bed always being made when you leave it for a moment. Always in the same way; I love it. The bed made for your future self every time. Then the journey, accompanied by beautiful music, the playlist of which you receive afterward, is so carefully guided. Someone is there at exactly the right moment. You receive what you need, and you can always ask for help yourself.
I also feel a great deal of gratitude for my fellow travelers. The energy field that is created, the healing, both personally and collectively, is enormous. In this way, we tangibly contribute to a more beautiful world.

I've been suffering from severe, treatment-resistant obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) for 24 years. I've tried everything, but nothing has really helped (I even underwent DBS). With few options left, my friend, who grew up in Rotterdam, recommended a psilocybin retreat. By chance, we came across Mind Travelers, and I booked a two-day session.

First of all, the results are astonishing. I've been almost OCD-free for a few weeks now and will do this at least 3-4 times a year from now on. But none of this would have been possible without the incredibly caring guidance of the Mind Travelers staff. They are people who care about your well-being and guide you through the process in the best possible way. I have no words to express my gratitude and will now be one of their many returning guests.

So for those of you who don't live in the Netherlands and are a little skeptical... give Mind Travelers a try. You have nothing to lose except your trauma, your stress, and in my case, my severe OCD.

My wife and I went there last week. I did a lot of research beforehand because we'd never done this before. It's something I've always wanted to do. I'm 51, and my wife is 50. I chose this retreat based on other reviews. I initially had a lot of questions, and Rob from Mind Travelers responded quickly and answered them all. So we booked and waited to go.

Arriving on the day itself was a little unsettling, as the retreat is located in the middle of a business/industrial district. But as soon as we were welcomed inside, we felt like we'd been transported to Tibet! What a welcoming atmosphere – with Jaap, Suus, and all the other guests too. We were given a tour, asked plenty of questions, enjoyed a delicious cup of tea, and felt completely at home.

I won't say too much about the ceremony itself, as it's best to simply experience it. But rest assured that this retreat and its staff are highly professional, with immense respect for the process, the ceremony, the plant medicines, and the guests. I was overwhelmed by how caring and informative they were. They allowed us to relax and gave us the reassurance to fully dedicate ourselves to the ceremony. It was a deeply spiritual experience.

Food and drinks are provided, and there's overnight accommodation. From start to finish, we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Like I said: just go, and maybe we'll see you there, because we'll definitely be back!

What a journey with Mama Aya! Amazing! It was very intense for me, and at times even too much, but I got so much out of it. The feeling afterward is indescribable: content with everything, without worries. Better than physical travel because your life will change. Now for the integration part.

The service was so caring, warm, and pure. Everything was clean, the food after the ceremony was delicious, and the candlelit breakfast was wonderful.

The building in the industrial estate is a bit unusual. But please, be open to it and get over it. The ceremony space is so special and seems to come alive for me after the journey.

I've attended several ceremonies organized by other psychedelic organizations in the Netherlands. I've now traveled twice with MindTravellers, and they are by far the best, and at an affordable price.

MindTravellers is well-organized, offers a wonderfully supportive atmosphere, and is staffed by professional and competent leaders and facilitators. Rob and his team believe in what they do and are convinced that this form of inner journey and healing should be available to many more people, hence the very competitive prices.

I'm a 70-year-old psychologist and have been working with the mind-body connection for 40 years, both with my own emotions and those of others. Working with psychedelics feels like a completely natural way to expand and accelerate this work, although it's obviously not suitable for everyone. I live in Denmark, where it's unfortunately still not legal to use and work with psychedelics, although legal and funded research is being conducted here.

My wife and my 27-year-old daughter were with me during this last three-day ceremony, and both had very productive and safe experiences. My wife was skeptical for a long time, but after her experience, she is completely convinced of the power of psilocybin ceremonies as a tool for emotional growth.

Since I personally explored the healing properties of psychedelics three years ago, I now see their use as a potentially powerful tool for resolving emotional problems. I believe that new research into the healing power of psychedelics represents a paradigm shift from traditional psychiatry and is a valuable addition to psychology.

Human emotions are vital survival mechanisms that we've inherited from nature through millions of years of animal evolution. We need emotions, and we must feel and be aware of them to use them constructively and function as healthy people.

Psychedelics have the potential to enable us to experience, feel, and be aware of these emotions safely, so they don't control us from the subconscious. Awareness of our emotions helps us use them constructively in our complex modern lives.

Psychiatry, on the other hand, often uses psychopharmacology (medication) as a quick fix to suppress problematic emotions, potentially leading to feelings of alienation, emptiness and meaninglessness.

We are already planning to attend another ceremony with MindTravellers within the next year.

All the guides were incredibly helpful and friendly. I felt welcome from the very first moment. The setting was calm and warm. I really enjoyed the Mexican man's guitar parts at the end. The only thing I liked better was the integration part. I would offer online questions that participants could complete after the session. The goal would be to generate insights in a guided manner. This is necessary because personal integration after the ceremony isn't as profound as one might hope due to the group structure and time constraints. I would also offer the opportunity for everyone to share their experiences online (perhaps via Google Forms, etc.) and read what others had written. Personally, I entered a transpersonal realm, a place I'd never been before and which I was afraid of after the trip. I truly wanted to feel understood, but I didn't feel like the people around me truly understood what I had seen or experienced, as most of the other participants had deeply personal experiences related to their lives here and now. I'm 100% certain that people go to these transpersonal places or other realms where they have no remnants of their normal consciousness or self. That's why I think it would be a great idea to have these testimonials available, so we can further explore common themes with others and feel reassured. Otherwise, the experience can leave you feeling a bit isolated. I think improving the integration aspect could easily improve the user experience tenfold.

On August 15, 2025, a 57-year-old man, stuck in his head and not feeling his gut, walked in and I was able to take a trip at MindTravellers under the wings of Suus and her team.
Intention was not difficult for me to express and I was completely ready to surrender completely.
"I want to get out of my head and start feeling," and I got everything and more. What a journey I've been on, and I've enjoyed it from beginning to end. It has completely given me something I've never felt in my life. I'm simply in touch with my gut feeling, and my mind is empty. Carrying all that baggage has been left behind, and peace and space have taken its place. This trip coincided with my vacation, and it was the best vacation ever, with lots of laughter and tears. I'm so grateful for the two fantastic Psilohuasca ceremonies at Mindtravellers! There's a loving atmosphere in a lovely, comfortable living room setting. I experienced two very profound ceremonies with the Psilohuasca, emotionally, energetically, and physically. Very similar to Pachamama ceremonies. Traveling with Psilohuasca is easier than with Ayahuasca because you receive a fixed dose and don't have to ask for a second or third glass. The guidance during both ceremonies was also very pleasant and helpful. This allowed me to deeply feel and release a lot. It was also pleasant traveling with people who used other plant medicines. This experience is definitely worth repeating, and I definitely will! 😃

As a mental health advocate, I've always been curious about the effectiveness and impact of psychedelic therapy. A good friend introduced me to Rob, and after some research and reading positive reviews, Mind Travelers came at the perfect time in my journey.

The setting and the guides welcomed their guests warmly, and the introductory session put everyone at ease, as we were guided through every step of the journey. Throughout the process, the guides were very caring, kind, and supportive, making me feel safe and at ease. They don't see it as a job, but as a mission to fill the space with love and compassion.

The route planner took me to an industrial estate, and I don't exactly have any soothing associations with it... but once I arrived, it was pleasantly bustling. A few people from Scotland were chatting and laughing on a small terrace outside. Inside, I was greeted by one of the guides who immediately gave me a tour. As we walked to the ceremony space, I told her about the industrial estate... I was very impressed with the space, truly amazing!! The English-speaking people had the ceremony upstairs and the Dutch-speaking ones downstairs. There were six of us and four guides. They explained the plant medicine and what would happen during the ceremony. The guidance during my journey was also very good. Although I'm always critical of music, it was like a dream where everything flows together and is connected—truly fantastic. My journey was exactly what I needed. After the journey, there was delicious fruit ;-) and a delicious curry that I ate on the terrace outside under the stars. I said this place looked like 'the restaurant at the end of the universe'. Thanks so much... until the next trip!

I waited a week after my experience to write my review because it takes me that long to get back on track after a very intense experience with the Mind Travellers experience.

I booked this experience online, knowing that plant medicines were a realistic way for me to take the next step in my own growth process, but also to understand my life as it is. I specifically wanted to give my body the opportunity to learn how to function again without citilopram, which I'd been taking for the past 15 years.

My partner and I left the UK early Friday morning and didn't arrive until just before the 15.00 p.m. ceremony. Next time we return, we'll arrive the day before and probably find a nice cabin in the woods so we have time to relax and hydrate before the ceremony.

We received a warm and hearty welcome from both the leaders and the others who joined our group for the ceremony. The relaxation within the group was immediately palpable, and we gathered in the lounge to meet and introduce ourselves.

The location itself felt a bit strange, as it's situated on an industrial estate, but it's been transformed into a warm, homey environment. I think this is because the organization has to operate like a business.

The ceremony was exceptionally well led by Suus. She immediately created a sense of calm with her guidance. During the preparatory meeting, it was easy to ask questions.

The ceremony room is a warm, secure environment where you feel truly separated from the world, safe and secure. It's warm, welcoming, and comfortable.

The experience was very intense for me, but I felt safe and cared for. I was able to recover just enough to have a small bite to eat and then go back to bed. The spacious rooms allowed me to process the final details of my experience. It's difficult to sleep through the night with my mind racing, but it took me about three days to fully process the exhaustion of the experience. In retrospect, we should have booked accommodation close to nature instead of going to Amsterdam and not having to work for three days after the ceremony. Perhaps Wood was very helpful, so I'll remember that for next time.

The atmosphere of openness and honesty, with friendship, camaraderie, and a calm atmosphere, allowed me to settle into the group with the familiar, friendly feeling I had with my group of friends 30 years ago. This was very reassuring, because there were no expectations of me.

The chamomile tea, fresh fruit, and breakfast were delicious. I did take a nature walk and a quick dip in the water, which was wonderful. But if I'd had the option of an aromatherapy massage or just sitting in a recovery room, I probably would have done that too. I just found it hard to keep up with the sights, sounds, smells, and light after my experience. It just felt so intense after a quick breakfast. I had to go back to my room and stay in bed a little longer.

We really enjoyed the experience, but as I said, we would have made it easier on ourselves if we hadn't gone in and out too quickly. That would have made it easier for us, and we probably would have benefited from having more time to relax.

I waited a week to write my review because I wanted to see how my brain had calmed down after the experience. Today, I feel lighter and clearer than I have in years; my focus on my mind is increasing every day. I haven't used citalopram for almost four weeks now. I feel very calm and continue to nourish my mind to give it the best chance to connect with my body. I trusted the Plant Medicine, and it gave me what I asked for and what I needed at that moment. I am grateful to the Mind Travelers for allowing me to share this experience with them. I have no doubt we will return for another experience.

This plant medicine is healing in a wonderful way; you go deep inside and only come up when you are ready.
I saw, processed, experienced, and relived a lot in a special way. With beautiful music that transports you to places where you still have something to do. Unlike my previous journeys with ayahuasca. This is gentler, less intense, just as effective as ayahuasca, perhaps even better, because the gentler, more undulating feel allowed me to delve deeply.

Hello all.

This is the place to be if you want a truffle or psilohuasca experience. The guides will make you feel completely at ease and take care of you throughout the entire journey. I had my first truffle ceremony this weekend. And it was so helpful; so much has been cleared! I literally feel 10 kilos lighter. Even the pain in my body is completely gone! I've had back pain for years, and it's completely gone! It was a fantastic journey. Suus guided me very well. The setting was also truly amazing. The visuals! Just wow. I recommend this to everyone! I did a three-day ceremony (two dust-takings). Everything is included in the price: food, accommodation, and I didn't have any worries when I arrived. The location is in an industrial area with lots of depots/stockpiles, and the route is quite awkward if you're arriving by train. The ceremony guides are incredible, very skilled, and I had a lot of confidence in them. They are very attentive and adapt to each participant. I highly recommend it! I had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place if you're looking for a psychedelic journey in a safe environment. The team was very caring, friendly, and made me feel cared for and safe the entire time. The ceremony space was also very cozy, and I loved the music they chose for the journey. The facilities were clean, and the owner, Rob, was even kind enough to pick me up from the station. Before the journey, I took a short walk into town, a beautiful little village that's definitely worth a visit if you have the time.
The trip itself was very exciting, challenging, interesting, and completely different from what I expected. The team helps you through difficult moments and emotions. Afterward, I slept reasonably well, and the communal breakfast the next day was a great step towards returning to normalcy. I can only recommend planning ahead and then giving yourself a few days with no over-planning and no pressure – as I felt quite sensitive.
Although the team made sure all the information was provided in English, most of the other participants were Dutch, so without understanding the language, I sometimes missed out on learning about their experiences and thoughts and couldn't participate in all the conversations. Since I was very focused on my travels, it didn't bother me much, but perhaps it could be something other internationals should know.
I was very nervous before the trip, but now I'm glad I went for it and chose MindTravellers - I'm still processing everything and I'm curious how the experience will impact me and my life in the future.

A huge thank you to Suus, Joe, and Rob. These people are among the friendliest I've ever met. It was my first time taking mushrooms in anything more than a microdose, and I was absolutely amazed. They gave us raw truffles, but when that didn't work well for me (I felt nauseous), they offered me tea, which worked much better. They're there the whole time, both in the room and afterward. If you've been wanting to try psychedelics for a while, please consider them. I traveled all the way from the UK, and it was so worth it. The immediate effect of a generally positive mood alone is astonishing.

Dear Mindtravellers team,

Last Friday I took my first trip. I'm so glad I did it with you. It couldn't have been better. The safety you offered me, the location, and Jacqueline's detailed explanations gave me confidence going into the trip. I also connected with my fellow travelers immediately, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it felt good right away.
After five years, I was finally able to mourn the loss of my mother and everything that never was, yet still is. I experienced intense emotions, for which I am eternally grateful. The beautiful music touched my soul, the psychedelic imagery intense and beautiful. I cried and laughed and experienced the most beautiful things.
Jacqueline, Tess and Jaap were like three angels, floating through space as safe beacons.
Afterwards, they pampered us with the most delicious fruit ever and a mild curry, and my fellow travelers and I had a wonderful evening, with laughter and tears. It was so wonderful to stay the night and slowly descend from the energy of the trip together and share what we'd experienced.
The next morning a delicious breakfast, a valuable sharing round and a walk with Jaap to the water of the Lek.
What a complete experience this has been!
Jacqueline wrote a beautiful poem for me, which I will carry with me in my heart.
The insights are still coming in and I trust that will continue for some time.

All praise for the incredibly professional and loving guidance from the highly experienced team at MindTravellers! It starts with helpful instructions via email. The warmest welcome follows. You immediately feel at ease. After checking in, you receive a comprehensive briefing on the details of the day and the ceremony. This was incredibly valuable, as you were able to apply some of the tips immediately during the journey. You are wonderfully looked after and cared for at every conceivable moment throughout the day.
No question is too much, and the chemistry between the ceremony leaders is wonderful! Not sure if a ceremony is for you? Feel free to contact these experienced people. They have extensive knowledge, and they dedicate considerable time to helping you unwind and reflect on your integration. This includes staying overnight afterward (and chatting), enjoying a relaxing and delicious breakfast, and a memorable closing session where you can share your experiences with the group. Optionally, a lovely walk or a dip in the Lek River. In short, a great success for me, and we haven't even mentioned the journey itself. The latter is beyond words.

In May I decided to participate in a two-day Philohuasca ceremony again.
Now, a week later, there are no words to describe what this ceremony has brought me. It feels like a wall I've built around my heart my whole life is crumbling, and I'm gaining peace and self-confidence in return.
After so many years of searching for help with my feelings of disconnection, I finally have something that actually helps.
I am incredibly grateful for this ❤️

I received this ceremony as a gift from my girlfriend for my 50th birthday and I thought it was really special.

We were welcomed openly and with love.
And that immediately gives you a good feeling.
It quickly felt like home.
Very nice and good guidance.
Everything was well explained step by step and time was taken for everything.
It was a very tough journey for me.
And it took a very long time.
But in the end I saw a lot and gained a lot of insights and clarity.
Also released many traumas.
It was very special and unique and enlightening.
And I really want to thank you for the excellent care, that was really great.👍.

It was a first for me (absolutely the first; I've never "tasted" anything like it before). The experience was 100% positive. The surroundings and the people accompanying us were pleasant. We received answers to all our questions, and the explanations were truly comprehensive. I didn't feel insecure for a single moment, despite the spectacular and deeply introspective effects. Music literally takes control of the brain. Wonderful! After the ceremony, there's also an interesting debriefing. The meals and sleeping conditions are also very good. I've traveled (a little, a lot, I don't know because it was the only time)... I enjoyed it. In every case, I came out a little "exhausted," but completely relaxed from all the tension (stress, spine, knees). It did me a lot of good, and I miss the music tremendously. Otherwise, I don't feel any addiction, except for the desire to continue on another journey. Afterward, it's a matter of not overdoing it and at least waiting for the beneficial effects in the weeks that follow. I advise everyone!

On the way to Collumborg, I was a bit nervous, but upon arrival, the welcome was very pleasant. The welcome was friendly; my journey was beautiful. I experienced what true love is, and I want to hold on to it and share it with others. I wasn't able to delve deeply enough due to various circumstances surrounding me, and that's why I will definitely go back. They took such good care of us there; they were truly so sweet and caring. What an incredible experience! I would recommend it to everyone... So liberating! It was incredibly intense; all the emotions came flooding back, but I feel so wonderful. As if I've taken off 10 backpacks. Hats off to the support staff; we were incredibly well taken care of before, during, and after the ceremony, and that made me feel so safe! A few weeks ago, I participated in a MindTravellers "journey." It's an experience I would recommend to everyone. It was incredibly valuable and enlightening. The atmosphere, preparation, guidance, and sharing of experiences afterward were also wonderful.

What an incredibly wonderful company. Beautiful location, professional and caring guides, and amazing music.
I have had the opportunity to make two Psilohuasca journeys in a short period of time.
one private session with my best friend and one group ceremony in a nice group of 7 people.

What an intense experience but also so grateful that I was able to do this.
My travels have been completely based on feeling and what a lot of feelings I have been able to experience during them.
Now it's up to me to work on this, figure things out and become a better version of myself.

A little bit tense on the way to Culemborg.
Questions in your head, what can I expect?
As soon as I entered, all tension disappeared and I immediately felt at ease and welcome.
Putting things down, exploring the area, saying hello to everyone.
So nice to notice that you all come for the same thing but with a different intention.
All the last questions are answered and everything is discussed thoroughly and I go to the ceremony room completely at ease.
Your own nice and clean place.
I have been able to make a beautiful, educational, loaded and above all loving journey.
To be able to give events from the past a place, to be able to say goodbye again and above all to be able to discover and love myself.
It will be a different journey for everyone and different each time as far as you can handle.
I look back on a nice weekend with nice people around me.
Now, after half a year, it still occupies my mind in a positive way.
I'm really fine-tuning myself to find what makes me happy, every day is getting more fun!
When I'm ready again I'll definitely come back to mindtravellers!

Prefer to travel by public transport? The train takes about 35 minutes, often with a transfer at Utrecht Central Station. From Culemborg station, it's a 10-minute walk, or you can use our pick-up service.

The best place for a balanced inner journey with Psilohuasca is at Mindtravellers in Culemborg, about 45 minutes from Hilversum. Instead of Ayahuasca, we use the legal alternative Psilohuasca, which has virtually the same effect.
