Advice on working methods and business operations

MindTravellers has an advisory board of psychologists who are all experienced with psychedelics. They advise us on our working methods and business operations. Some participants appreciate receiving extra guidance in the process leading up to the ceremony and/or afterwards, for integration. You can therefore also ask them for individual pre- and post-ceremony programs. You can easily make your wishes known to them yourself and make arrangements regarding this.

Raphaela

Raphaela

My name is Raphaela and I offer aftercare as a psychologist and coach for MindTravellers.
During my years of experience as a primary care psychologist and independent coach, I've helped many people in their healing and development processes. My own experiences using plant medicines have taught me how valuable, but also how intense, these experiences can be. Perhaps you gained significant insights during a ceremony, but it also raised many questions. A journey with plant medicine brings about a shift in the (sub)conscious that can have long-lasting effects.

If you need support in processing this process or have questions that require professional attention, I can help. The initial consultation (30 minutes) is always free of charge and serves as an introduction and a way to clarify your needs. Based on this conversation, we can determine what's needed and how I can assist you. This can be done online via video call, but I also have a meeting room available in Rotterdam or Dordrecht if needed.

John

I have attended several ceremonies at other psychedelic organizations in the Netherlands. By now, I have participated in a trip with MindTravellers three times, and they are by far the best — moreover, at prices accessible to everyone.

MindTravellers is excellently organized, feels particularly supportive, and has professional and expert guides and facilitators. Rob and his team genuinely believe in what they do and feel that this form of inner journey and healing should be available to many more people. That is why they maintain very accessible prices.

I am a 70-year-old psychologist and have been working with the connection between body and mind for forty years, both with my own emotions and feelings and those of others. Working with psychedelics feels to me like a completely natural way to deepen and accelerate this work, although it is obviously not suitable for everyone. I live in Denmark, where it is unfortunately still not legal to work with psychedelics, although legal and funded research is now taking place.

My wife and my 27-year-old daughter participated in this latest three-day ceremony, and both had a very valuable and safe experience. My wife was skeptical about this for a long time, but after her own journey, she has become fully convinced of the power of psilocybin ceremonies as a support for healing and emotional growth…

Nana

My name is Nana. I am an integrative counselor and psychedelic facilitator, with a special affinity for what it means to embark on a psychedelic journey as an Asian participant.

For many of us, this path brings an extra layer of complexity. It touches upon cultural values we grew up with, challenges societal norms that never seemed meant to be questioned, and carries the weight of taboos and stigmas that make it difficult to speak openly about this—even with those closest to us.

In collaboration with MindTravellers, I offer support with both the preparation and the integration of psychedelic experiences.

More than twenty years of living in various countries and cultures has deepened my understanding of the many nuances that shape who we are. I facilitate sessions in English, Chinese, Malay, and conversational Thai. Meeting you in your native language strengthens the therapeutic connection and creates greater safety and trust.

Integration is where the real work begins. An experience with plant medicines can open doors to insights, emotions, and parts of yourself that you might not have known existed. Together, we explore what has surfaced and how this can find a place in your way of life.

When you are ready, I will be there. Let's start with a conversation — via video call or in person in Amsterdam.

Onur

As a psychologist with a PhD in neurobiology and a background in both practice and research, I view mental health from a holistic perspective—from both biology and psychology.

Biologically speaking, I see that much of what people experience is not simply located in the brain, or can be solved with medication, but is closely connected to how someone gives meaning to themselves and their life.

But psychologically, too, I see in my work that people often get stuck in patterns they understand rationally but continue to repeat emotionally. Insight alone is not enough in such cases. Something is needed that actually touches that deeper layer and sets it in motion.

That is where the value of psychedelics lies for me. They influence the brain in a way that temporarily makes it more plastic, more susceptible to change, allowing psychological insights not only to be understood, but also truly felt and integrated.

On a psychological level, psychedelics can help gain new insights. Psychedelics make fixed beliefs less self-evident and create space to experience yourself in a new way. This can be confronting, but also liberating.

Because psychedelics have an effect on both biological and psychological levels, they work synergistically to bring about lasting change. This process is significantly deepened when embedded in careful therapeutic guidance.

Within MindTravellers, I am therefore involved in the pre- and post-process, always in consultation with the participant. Beforehand, I help bring potentially unconscious material to the surface, clarify intentions, and support the mental and emotional well-being of the process. Afterwards, the focus is on integration, because insights only gain true value when they are translated into daily life.

In this way, an experience becomes not only meaningful but also sustainable.
